Huge system crash, and how i luckily recovered everything…
Yesterday night all the nightmares came true, i was watching catwoman on the ubuntu box, when the system became unresponsive.
The disk started to heavily trash, and i was barely able to move the mouse. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace didn’t do anything, nor Ctrl-Alt-Del,

Elive Gem installation on my old Toshiba satellite lap…PART 1

i feel right to start from the installation of Elive on my old, VERY old toshiba lap (a Satellite 4030CDS).
This lap was kindly gifted me from my gf’s mom, she didn’t have much use for it since it was really too old, but luckily i found the way to make it work again, and pretty good
