Elive on my laptop..
Well, as I said, I’ve done it: I installed Elive on my panasonic! Yes, it didn’t go totally smooth, I had to compile the drivers, but once I reported to the developers, they were included in the repositories.
Now what can I say, I had Ubuntu on it for many years, and lately I started to feel it slow, unresponsive and the CPU was always running at maximum speed..With Elive, it always runs very mild, and everything is fast, swift responsive!
I can’t really compare, there is more than 100% improvement in speed. Read the rest of this entry »
